Researcher at Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV, Rome)

Alessandro Piscini received his MS degree in Physics from La Sapienza University on 1993, Rome, Italy focusing the research on study of the “Internal Boundary Layer", in sea breeze conditions, in view of the application of meteo-diffusive models.

He awarded a GeoInformation Ph.D. at the Tor Vergata University in Rome on 2015 in the field of volcanic monitoring using a Neural-Network approach to multispectral and hyperspectral data.

He is currently working with the Remote Sensing Laboratory of the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV) in Rome.

His research interests are focused on the analysis of optical multispectral and hyperspectral remote sensing data for natural hazards assessment and monitoring.

He contributes to international projects for the scientific part
